Conscious Caregiving: Managing the Needs of Self and Others
In honor of National Caregivers Month, Buchanan's C.A.R.E. Affinity Group is pleased to host an illuminating virtual lecture featuring Bobbi Wegner, Psy.D., a renowned clinical psychologist, lecturer at Harvard, author of "Raising Feminist Boys," and Founder & CEO of Groops. Attendees will discover strategies to navigate and mitigate stress amidst the demands of caregiving roles, healthy techniques for establishing boundaries and effective communication, and actionable tips for self-care during the caregiving experience.

Additionally, on November 30, in recognition of Veterans Day, Buchanan B.R.A.V.E. is hosting a special program "Honoring Sacrifice & Transforming Futures with Folds of Honor" featuring Beth Simmons and Ginger Gilbert Ravella of Folds of Honor, a nonprofit dedicated to offering life-changing scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military and first responders. This conversation will explore the impact of Folds of Honor in the lives of military families, how individuals and organizations can get involved, and the profound impact of education for those affected by service and sacrifice. Beth and Ginger will be joined by Buchanan's Jim Wiltraut and George Morrison.
