Harrisburg Environmental Law Attorney Brian Clark to Present in Environmental Conference Series

Brian J. Clark, a shareholder in the Environmental Law practice at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Harrisburg office, will be a speaker  in the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry Fall Environmental Conference Series. The series will consist of four events throughout Pennsylvania from October 16 through November 6.

Clark is scheduled to speak at three of the conferences on the topic "Hazardous Waste Management." He will be at the:

• Holiday Inn Conference Center in Lehigh Valley on Thursday, October 16.
• Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center in Camp Hill on Tuesday, October 28
• Crowne Plaza in Valley Forge on Thursday, November 6.
  

His presentation will cover the following areas: 

• Definition of hazardous waste
• Characterization of waste
• Regulation of mercury under RCRA
• Basic requirements for hazardous waste generators and transporters
• Requirements for treatment, storage and disposal
• Top three items environmental managers should consider in planning for EPA changes to future hazardous waste regulations
