Business Insider and Washington Post Quote Shareholder David J. Fernandez on Financial Status of Puerto Rico

With recent media coverage of Puerto Rico’s financial stability, Buchanan Public Finance Shareholder David J. Fernandez weighs in with Business Insider and The Washington Post.

Hoping that the island’s debt will be easier to restructure and manage, Fernandez tells the publications that now is where the nuances begin to show.

“Up until now the conversation has always been this is the 'Commonwealth's debt' but now we are seeing that in fact there are layers to that analysis and each issuing entities debts need to be considered in isolation,” he says.
