Buchanan to Host America-Israel Chamber Of Commerce Forum
Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney will host and sponsor an America-Israel Chamber of Commerce (AICC) Forum on Wednesday, October 29, 2008.
Government representatives from the State of Israel, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the city of Philadelphia will share their insights on economic cooperation between the region and Israel.
Panelists include:
- Daniel Kutner, consul general for the State of Israel in Philadelphia
- Wilfred Muskens, deputy secretary for the Office of International Business Development in Pennsylvania
- Andrew Altman, deputy mayor for planning and economic development and director of commerce for the City of Philadelphia
- Representative Josh Shapiro, Pennsylvania House of Representatives
The program takes place on the heels of the successful passage of a resolution to facilitate business development between Philadelphia and Israel.
The forum will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Buchanan's Philadelphia office at 1835 Market Street, 14th Floor.
Buchanan attorney and AICC Board Member Marc Tepper will host a meeting prior to the forum to discuss ways to reach out to Israeli companies and identify potential business opportunities.
The International Services Practice at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney has been working to bridge the gap between U.S. and foreign markets and represents a number of Israeli clients. Tepper, a member of the group, has particularly been involved with matters developing in Israel.
Buchanan attorneys work with companies, governments and regulatory entities overseas.
