Buchanan Shareholder H. Marc Tepper Quoted on FEMA, Hurricane Sandy in The Legal Intelligencer
With post-Sandy cleanup in full force, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Insurance & Reinsurance Shareholder H. Marc Tepper cautioned that the road to recovery is a long one.
As Tepper explained to The Legal Intelligencer, the process of applying for and securing federal aid takes patience. Reimbursements may take weeks or months, and initial assessments can be higher or lower than the eventual aid, he said.
A 20-year insurance law veteran, Tepper represented the U.S. Virgin Islands in FEMA claims after Hurricane Marilyn in 1995.
Tepper’s commentary was also reported by the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Morris Daily Herald.
