Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is a proud platinum sponsor of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation's upcoming 31st Annual Andrew Hamilton Benefit, taking place Saturday, November 21, 2009, at 7 p.m. at the Please Touch Museum.
The Bar Foundation will present its annual Morris Shuster Fellowships at the event, along with the presentation of the Citizens Bank Pro Bono Award and the Philadelphia Bar Foundation Award. The Andrew Hamilton Benefit, the social event of the season in the legal community, raises money for grants to law-related programs in the Philadelphia area that assist the indigent, elderly and disabled, as well as abused women and children.
Held annually in November, the benefit is the Bar Foundation's hallmark event. It brings the legal community together for an evening of celebration, learning and inspiration. Funds raised support the foundation's annual grants to nonprofit legal service providers.
