Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Successfully Defends Lowe’s Home Centers, LLC in Age Discrimination Case

PHILADELPHIA – March 25, 2021 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney secured summary judgement on behalf of client Lowe’s Home Centers, LLC. in the case of Stephen Baker v. Lowes Home Centers, LLC. The case was litigated in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Joseph Centeno, co-chair of the firm’s Labor & Employment section, and Michael Truncellito, counsel in the section, represented Lowe’s in this matter. Buchanan’s team conclusively demonstrated that Lowe’s terminated Mr. Baker for legitimate non-discriminatory reasons and refuted Mr. Baker’s claims of age discrimination.
