Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Shareholders Participate in 2013 International Series: Korea-US IP Judicial Program in Seoul, South Korea

Washington, D.C. – November 4, 2013 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney announced today that executive shareholder Patrick C. Keane and shareholder Philip Hirschhorn participated at the 2013 International Series: Korea-US IP Judicial Program in Seoul, South Korea on October 21-22.

Keane spoke as a panelist on the topic of “Patent and Fair Trade.” Hirschhorn participated on a panel that addressed “Pharma: Patent Approval Linkage System” on the advent of Korea’s new generic drug legislation.

The conference was attended by thought leaders in all sectors including government, judicial, litigation and corporate. The event was a two day collaboration of The Judiciary of Republic of Korea, including the Korean Patent Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, along with IP-related state agencies, academia and businesses from both nations.
