Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Shareholder John R. Washlick Appointed to Philadelphia Bar Association’s Business Law Executive Committee
Philadelphia – January 9, 2014 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney announced today that shareholder John R. Washlick has been appointed to the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Business Law Executive Committee.
Washlick co-chairs the Firm’s Health Care Industry Practice and focuses his practice on health care transactions and corporate compliance. He regularly counsels clients, as both general counsel on routine matters for healthcare industry clients and outside counsel on specialized issues and projects for clients with in-house legal departments, concerning employment and medical staff relationships; clinical trials; professional service agreements; management and provider contracts; physician recruitment incentives; state and federal fraud and abuse and anti-referral prohibitions; and tax planning and compliance for tax-exempt hospitals.
