Philadelphia, PA, June 8, 2011 — Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Litigation Shareholder Gerald E. Burns, III was reappointed for a three-year term as a Hearing Committee member for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, effective July 1, 2011.

About the Hearing Committee

The Hearing Committee is part of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Hearing Committee members are lawyers who are appointed to three-year terms and can be reappointed once. They serve on a voluntary, unpaid basis. Each of the four districts has a Hearing Committee composed of three-member panels.
