Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Opens Denver Office
“We’ve been exploring opportunities to expand our reach in the mid- and southwest in conjunction with our clients’ long term business goals,” stated Jack Barbour, Buchanan’s CEO and Managing Shareholder. “This move will allow us to better serve our clients and position us for growth in that region with the addition of another key financial services and energy hub.” Buchanan counts among its clients most of the largest financial institutions in the country, and Denver has a concentration of banks with growing energy and agribusiness portfolios.
Rebecca Lando, chair of the firm’s financial services practice, added, “With major clients in the financial services sector, we have been planning for the right team to deepen our strength in agribusiness and energy finance and the attorneys in the Denver office are the perfect fit.”
Buchanan recently expanded its Florida footprint when it merged earlier this year with Tampa-based Fowler White Boggs, adding 90 attorneys to bring its headcount to 520. The firm continues to position itself for growth in markets that are important to clients and to the firm’s overall strategic objectives.
