Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Names Jeremy Garvey Co-Chair of Corporate Section
Pittsburgh, PA – January 30, 2012 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney announced today Shareholder Jeremiah G. Garvey, a member of the firm’s board of directors, will co-chair the firm’s Corporate Section. Thomas G. Buchanan, who has co-chaired the section for more than seven years, will continue to co-lead the section.
The firm’s CEO and Managing Director Jack Barbour stated, “Jeremy has successfully held several leadership positions in the firm, and I am certain that he will bring energy and focus to further the Corporate Section’s goals.”
Garvey succeeds Ronald Basso, who recently became Executive Vice President-Business Development, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of firm client Black Box Corporation. Basso, who began his career with Buchanan Ingersoll more than 27 years ago, has assisted Black Box in more than 130 transactions all over the world.
