PITTSBURGH (September 2022) – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is expanding its Real Estate practice group with the addition of Nathan Clark to its Pittsburgh office. He joins the more than 30-lawyer-strong practice group as counsel.

Clark served as the chief legal officer at the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (URA), the city’s economic development agency. He led the real estate transaction team at URA, managing all acquisitions, conveyances, and long-term strategic planning for URA development initiatives. He also advised the agency’s departments and board on general legal issues such as corporate, compliance, and tax matters. He oversaw the legal department during both the Peduto and Gainey administrations.

“I joined Buchanan because of its impressive group of lawyers, and the opportunity to stay focused on real estate development in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County,” said Clark. “Pittsburgh is its own economic ecosystem in a lot of ways, and real estate is an area where we see consistent growth and increased economic impact for the city and the surrounding region.”

Clark focuses his real estate law practice on development in Pittsburgh and surrounding Allegheny County. He supports clients through all aspects of a real estate transaction.

Buchanan is excited to expand its bench strength with the addition of Clark and is confident his unique experience will enhance the service Buchanan’s Real Estate team provides its clients.
