Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Grows White Collar Defense Practice with Former Philadelphia ADA Allison Borgatti
PHILADELPHIA – April 26, 2021 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney welcomes Allison L. Borgatti to its White Collar Defense, Compliance & Investigations group as counsel. Borgatti brings a breadth of experience from both sides of the courtroom, having worked in law firms and as a prosecutor in Philadelphia. Both corporations and individuals, domestic and foreign, look to Borgatti for assistance in all facets and stages of state and federal investigations or corporate compliance investigations related to complex criminal cases, civil fraud and corruption matters.
During her time in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, Borgatti tried more than 50 high-profile cases and coordinated investigations involving federal and local law enforcement agencies. Additionally, she has a deep understanding of issues relating to the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

Borgatti received her J.D. from the Rutgers Law School and her B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College. She is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the White Collar Women’s Defense Association.
