Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Expands Labor & Employment Practice with Higher Education and Civil Rights Attorney
PHILADELPHIA – June 15, 2022 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney continues its strategic growth with the addition of George C. Morrison, shareholder in the Labor & Employment section. Morrison, who will be based in the firm’s Philadelphia office, brings extensive civil rights and higher education experience to the firm. As a Level 3 Civil Rights Investigator and Hearing Officer, Morrison frequently works with colleges and universities on a wide array of matters.
In addition to his civil rights and higher education practice, Morrison also represents employers of all sizes in employment matters including wage and hour class and collective actions, multiple jurisdiction litigation, due diligence involving stock sales and mergers, covenants, non-compete agreements, personnel policies and layoffs.
