Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Awarded the Homeless Advocacy Project’s Inaugural Law Firm Recognition Award
Buchanan was recognized for the work they have done on project SOAR (SSI Outreach Access and Recovery Program), a mission designed to help homeless individual s receive social security benefits on an expedited basis.
In addition to the firm’s award, Klaproth was awarded the Legal Services Recognition Award and North received the Adopt Coordinators Award during HAP’s 2013 Volunteer Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, October 29.

The Homeless Advocacy Project (HAP) exists to meet the legal and advocacy needs of homeless individuals and families in Philadelphia. With a legal staff of 13 and a corps of 400 volunteer lawyers, paralegals, and law students, HAP engages in direct outreach to homeless individuals in need of legal services.
