Am Law 200 firm achieves Mansfield Certification Plus Status for Sixth Consecutive Year

PITTSBURGH – September 2023 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney proudly announces that it has achieved Mansfield Certification Plus Status for the 2022-2023 timeframe. This is the sixth consecutive year that the firm has received this recognition since participating in the Diversity Lab’s initial pilot program.

Mansfield works to boost inclusivity and diversity in leadership by broadening the pool of talent through “consideration” – not quotas – for leadership roles. The Certification process is grounded in four key pillars that work from the ground up to advance inclusivity, access and diversity in leadership within law firms and corporate legal departments.

In addition to achieving Mansfield Certification, Buchanan once again achieved Certified Plus Metrics, a designation that indicates that in addition to taking steps to increase inclusivity in leadership, the firm has also made measured progress in doing so. Only about half of the Certified firms achieved this honor this year.
