Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Adds Former PA State Reps. to Bipartisan Government Relations Team
PITTSBURGH - Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney continues its strategic growth with the addition of Pam Snyder and Carrie Lewis DelRosso as senior advisors in its government relations group. They are joining the Pittsburgh office.
“Carrie and Pam add significant experience to our bipartisan team in Pennsylvania,” said Leslie Gromis Baker, section chair and managing director of state and federal government relations at Buchanan. “They are respected on both sides of the aisle, have impressive expertise in key industries including healthcare and energy, and will be great assets for our clients.”
Snyder served five terms as State Representative for Pennsylvania’s 50th Legislative District (Greene County). She also was a member of the Transition Team Leadership Board for Governor Josh Shapiro and Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis. In 2022, she was appointed by Governor Wolf as the new chair of the Pennsylvania Broadband Authority. She was integral in implementing a statewide broadband plan, as well as distributing state and federal funds allocated for internet expansion in Pennsylvania.
“Buchanan’s excellent reputation for client service and its collaborative culture attracted me to the firm,” said Snyder. “I look forward to expanding my work with economic development and in the energy and broadband sectors and leveraging my experience to strengthen clients’ strategies.”
During her tenure as State Representative, Snyder had multiple pieces of legislation passed and signed into law. Most notably, she was a co-sponsor on the bipartisan bill that established Act 96 of 2021, creating the Pennsylvania Broadband Deployment Authority.
DelRosso recently completed two statewide campaigns and previously served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from the 33rd District. While in the PA House of Representatives, DelRosso served on the aging, human services, gaming, and urban affairs committees in Harrisburg. During the 2021-2022 session she accomplished three prime sponsored bills, all of which were signed into law (Pennsylvania Act 9, Act 61, & Act 137 of 2022).
“Buchanan is a powerhouse for government relations in Pennsylvania, and I am honored to join this team of government relations professionals and lawyers,” said DelRosso. “I look forward to strategizing together to move our clients’ goals forward.”
Buchanan’s government relations group includes former high-ranking government officials and experienced professionals who understand the policy-making, legislative, regulatory, procurement and other processes from top to bottom. At the federal level and in both Pennsylvania and Florida, the firm’s fully synchronized team of government relations professionals and lawyers works together to build strategies and find solutions that drive success for clients.
