Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Achieves Mansfield Certification Plus Status for Seventh Consecutive Year

PITTSBURGH – October 2024 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney proudly announces it has achieved Mansfield Certification for 2023-2024. This is the seventh year in a row that Buchanan has received this recognition since participating in the Diversity Lab’s pilot program, garnering the firm recognition by Mansfield as a ‘True Trailblazer.’

Mansfield Certification is a year-long process that ensures law firms are working to increase the transparency and accessibility of their advancement processes and confirming that all qualified talent have a transparent, fair and equal opportunity to be considered for leadership roles and activities.

Since Mansfield launched in 2017, the parameters and requirements for achieving certification have become increasingly challenging to ensure that participating firms are making substantial progress in diversifying their leadership ranks.

To achieve the Mansfield Certification Plus designation, Buchanan had to provide data to Diversity Lab, demonstrating the progress and outcomes of the firm’s efforts to broaden talent pools and increase the visibility of the firm’s advancement processes.

This announcement comes shortly after Buchanan announced it was named to the Bloomberg Law Fourth Annual Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Framework. As a proud partner of Diversity Lab, late last year, Buchanan announced that it was joining forces with the organization to increase disability inclusion by signing onto the inaugural Disability Inclusion Commitments.
