WASHINGTON (February 2025) - Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney continues its strategic expansion with the addition of Courtney Tito as a shareholder in its Healthcare section. Tito joins the Washington, D.C. office. She is a board-certified healthcare attorney supporting healthcare providers nationally through payor reimbursement disputes and audits, government investigations and regulatory and compliance matters.

“Courtney is a strong addition to our healthcare section,” said Dale Webber, shareholder and chair of Buchanan’s Healthcare section. “She helps us to expand our services in the Washington, D.C. region and her significant experience will enhance value for our healthcare clients.”

Tito has experience in federal and private payer audits and disputes, reimbursement issues, enrollment revocations, payment suspensions, internal investigations, compliance and regulatory counseling, and in responding to federal subpoenas and civil investigative demands. She advises clients in both federal and state matters. She is board certified in health law by The Florida Bar.

She also counsels clients on licensing, compliance, CLIA standards, state and federal fraud and abuse rules and regulations, and telehealth matters. She advises clients regarding direct-to-consumer issues.

From 2006 to 2007, Tito served as a staff attorney for the Public International Law and Policy Group in Baghdad, Iraq, where she worked with legislators and the Federal Supreme Court advising senior ranking officials on drafting and implementing legislation, amending current legislation and amending the constitution.

Tito holds a law degree and master’s degree in International Affairs from American University and a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University.
