Buchanan Deepens Commercial Litigation Bench in Philadelphia with Addition of Kenneth L. Racowski
Philadelphia – June 17, 2015 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is pleased to announce that Kenneth L. Racowski has joined the firm in its Philadelphia office as counsel in the Litigation Section, concentrating on complex commercial litigation. Prior to joining Buchanan, Racowski was the chair of Wilson Elser’s Philadelphia Commercial and Business Litigation Practice, where he brought nearly nine years of experience from Morgan Lewis.
Racowski is a skilled litigator with experience representing clients in federal and state courts and before domestic and international arbitration panels throughout the country. His practice includes representing public and private companies of all sizes in breach of contract, business fraud, class actions, antitrust, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions and product liability matters. Racowski has represented clients in a wide-variety of industries, with a particular focus on life sciences, technology and financial services.
“Buchanan’s impressive talent pool, national reputation and full-service practice mix are the perfect platform to support and grow my practice and provide exceptional service to my clients, as well as the firm’s,” Racowski said. “I’m looking forward to working with the firm’s elite group of litigators,” he added.
“Ken’s practice and experience are great fits for the firm. His addition will further strengthen the firm’s commercial litigation bench in Philadelphia. Ken is a smart, proven litigator whose significant experience in “bet-the-company” suits will provide additional depth and resources for our clients in high-stakes litigation matters,” said Craig D. Mills, national co-chair of the firm’s Litigation Section.
In 2014, Racowski was recognized as a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” by The Legal Intelligencer. He is a frequent writer and speaker on commercial litigation issues and writes a regular column for the Pennsylvania Law Weekly.
