Barbara Binzak Blumenfeld Presents to the University of Minho School of Medicine in Portugal

On January 6, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Counsel Barbara Binzak Blumenfeld presented on FDA law to a group of medical students, doctoral students and faculty interested in innovation at the University of Minho School of Medicine in Portugal. Her webinar, titled “Navigating the U.S. Food and Drug Administration – Drugs and Biologics,” provided the attendees with basic background on FDA organization and the regulation of drug and biologic products. Her webinar was part of a week-long program on biomedical research, innovation, funding and business development strategies organized by Joana Rosario, M.D., M.P.H., a Principal at Strategic Research Development and Senior Medical Advisor at Whitemarsh Capital LLC. Barbara met Dr. Rosario in July 2014 as co-panelists at a program sponsored by BIR’s San Diego office and Integrium Clinical Research, LLC.
