Attorneys Zacharias and Jones Published in CSAA Dispatch
Robert A. Jones II co-authored an article – "Contractual Issues for Third-Party Central Stations" – featured in the Fall 2011 edition of the CSAA Dispatch, a publication of the International Central Station Alarm Association.
According to Jones, third-party central stations looking to capitalize on the growing trend of alarm dealers engaging their services must consider the following:
- Flexibility on negotiating "form" monitoring agreements
- Representation and warranties
- No co-mingled lines
- Special covenants for significant dealers
- Lender requirements
- Assignment and modification agreement
