An Overview of the Federal No Surprises Act: Guidance for Healthcare Providers

Salvatore Rotella Jr. and Sydney Bierhoff, attorneys in the firm's Healthcare section, will be leading a firm-wide CLE entitled "An Overview of the Federal No Surprises Act: Guidance for Healthcare Providers."

The team will provide an overview of the federal No Surprises Act, including to whom the Act applies, providers’ obligations, and provisions of the Act with a future effective date; and will offer recommendations for providers to comply with the Act as it is now and to prepare for what’s to come. They will also identify issues resulting from the Act, such as ongoing litigation and gaps in coverage.
