Alternative Financing Sources: What's Crowd Funding Got to Do With It?

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Corporate shareholder Jeremiah G. Garvey will present on alternative financing options as part of Duquesne University's Entrepreneur's Growth Conference.

Garvey will participate in the "Alternative Financing Sources: What's Crowd Funding Got to Do With It?" panel to discuss crowd funding and micro-lending, including where to go to find these sources, what types of businesses are eligible and how to apply. He will discuss, in particular, the legal issues related to the recent Jumpstart Our Business Startups ("JOBS") Act, which eases some securities law requirements for raising capital.
