Pamela Hepp, Shareholder in the firm's Healthcare section, participated in a "Science on the Hill: AI, Robotics and Your Health," the second panel discussion in a series presented by Scientific American to connect experts in the scientific community directly with lawmakers on Capital Hill.
The event provided insights on how advances in artificial intelligence and robotics can affect your health. Experts weighed in on how AI can improve diagnoses and cut costs, how robots could help serve as caregivers, and the role that mobile health systems and platforms will play in the future of medicine. Congressman McNerney, one of only two scientists in Congress, provided opening remarks.
