2015 Employment Law Briefing

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is proud to partner with the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association (PHRA) for the 2015 Employment Law Briefing on February 11 from 8:00am – 12:00pm at the PHRA offices in Gateway Center. Buchanan Labor & Employment attorneys Jaime S. Tuite, Gregory A. Miller, Brian D. Balonick and Christian Antkowiak will participate as faculty.
Miller’s presentation “Workplace Conduct: Raising the Bar,” will focus on the practical impact of employment law on the workplace and suggest a fresh prospective for workplace conduct training.
Antkowiak and Balonick’s presentation “Significant Employment Law Changes and Trends for 2015,” will discuss how employment law changes in the past year have created new issues affecting both employers and employees.
In Tuite’s presentation, titled “Privacy in the Workplace: Internet, Email, Social Media and the Challenges They Present,” she will cover management’s role in regulating, monitoring and disciplining employees for certain conduct via email, the internet and social media.
