July Visa Bulletin Released - All Employment-Based Categories Current

The Department of State issued the July 2007 Visa Bulletin today, and there has been overwhelming progression in all employment-based categories. As of July 1, all employment-based categories, except for Other Workers, will be current. This brings exceptionally good news for all clients.

Beginning July 1, clients will now be able to file I-485 applications for permanent residence, after years of waiting for the immigrant visas to become available. Any client who has a pending or approved I-140 Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker will be able to file the I-485 applications. In addition, any client who may be preparing to file an I-140 petition will now be able to concurrently file the I-485 application.  

Clients should prepare immediately to gather all documentation in support of the I-485, schedule medical examinations, and have photographs taken. We will contact all clients directly. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
