Linda Pissott Reig, shareholder in the firm's FDA/Biotech and Life Sciences practice groups, presented an webinar entitled "Compliant Communication: Why Is It Necessary?" during Pharmaceutical Compliance Congress Digital Week.

The presentation discussed the Department of Justice (Criminal Division)’s March 2023 updates to the “Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs” document, and its newly added section under the “Investigation of Misconduct” heading that addresses corporate retention and monitoring of “ephemeral” communications (e.g. texts, chats, etc.)
