Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Boosts Securities Practice with Richard DiStefano
NEW YORK – October 30, 2017 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney continues to expand its Corporate section, specifically its public company practice, with the addition of Richard DiStefano, a shareholder in the firm’s New York office. DiStefano works with public and private companies, advising on corporate and securities matters. His experience cuts across a variety of industries, including financial services, retail, marketing, media and entertainment, beverage, personal care, nutritional supplements and medical device businesses.

DiStefano has extensive experience in capital markets, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate representation. He counsels domestic and foreign private issuers, underwriters and broker-dealers as well as directors, executive officers, in-house counsel, and entrepreneurs on a wide variety of matters. He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
